Command line
gr init
Initialize and build the project graph
From the help of gr 0.2.16. gr help init prints it in full.
Builds this project's graph, kept in .graphide/graph.db: the structure read from the code, then the descriptions and overview that models write over it. --extract and --slim stop before any model is called.
gr init [flags] gr init [command]
| Flag | What it does |
|---|---|
--arch | run architecture agents only |
--confirm-large-root | index a root that does not look like one project (a home directory, a directory of repositories, or one over 20,000 files) |
--extract | build the deterministic graph only |
--force | full replace of extractable graph content; also bypasses the non-git-toplevel refusal |
--overview | run overview agents only |
--park-ahead | if graph.db was written by a newer gr, move it aside (graph.db.ahead-<unix>) and rebuild it with this build |
--slim | slim init with no agent calls: the deterministic graph, or the free overview partition with --overview |
--specs | rewrite extracted docstrings into specifications rather than trusting them (one model call per symbol) (default true) |
--yes | accept the resolved repository root without confirmation |
Every command also takes --root <folder>, the project to act on. Without it, gr uses the git repository you are in, or else the current folder.
